My Sifu, Mike Del Campo, will returning for a third year to Chattanooga! With sadness we acknowledge the passing of Grand Master Chu Shong TIn (Tsui Sheng TIng) on July 28, 2014. He perpetuated the Wing Chun System for over 60 years.  His skill, teaching methods, and humility and kindness leaves a legacy for us all.  "King of Siu Nim Tau" Please Rest in Peace.

I have decided not to hold the throwing weapon seminar originally scheduled for October 5th.  This seminar was on the calendar before booking the "Mike Del Campo Seminar II" for November and I feel better about not cluttering the calendar with my own seminar so close to that of the visit of my Sifu.  Thank you.

Effective immediately, Dojo will close at 1:00 p.m. on Fridays.  Thus, our evening class schedule (4:30 Fencing and 5:30 Wing Chun) will not be offered.  The remainder of class schedule (Monday thru Thursday and Saturday) will remain the same. Thank you.

Doug Wright earned the ranking of Shodan, 1st Degree Black Belt. Corey Buchanan earned the ranking of Nidan, 2nd Degree Black Belt.  Jacob Haines also earned the ranking of Nidan, 2nd Degree Black Belt.  All three did a fantastic job with great skill and control.  The test was conducted by Sijo Trevor Haines and Sifu Zachary Haines at Dojo Chattanooga on June 2, 2013 in Chattanooga, Tn.

Congrats to Erin from our youth class for breaking the May 2012 record in "Jump and Duck" with a total of 12!  That is twelve times of rapid evasion of the foam sword swiping randomly from head to toe.  The previous record of eleven set by Clint had been tied recently by Ana and Andrea but Erin has now raised the bar.

Don't miss out on the big party of the year at Dojo as we bring in the "Year of Snake" with style.  Party starts at 6 p.m. with a demonstration and after the pot luck dinner we will have the Chinese Horoscope predictions for the new year.  We promise to end the party with a "bang!" and look forward to seeing everyone there.
